After working for a few large IT firms Read born in 1966, is currently an entrepreneur and Venture Capital Advisor and Managing Consultant for Wireless and Mobile technologies [including the internet] and in particular, in software applications for the Wireless or Mobile Industry. Read has performed consulting, business and technical strategy and bought/sold firms in this market space for 12 years and has worked and lived in Europe, Canada, the USA, Mexico, Chile and Russia. Read has published various articles on Information Technology in European and North American Journals. He is currently researching a book on Wireless application usage in business.
In addition to a consuming interest in Technology Read believes that smaller government, rational spending, freedom of choice, political plurality, liberal laws and constitution’s, as well as a strong and projectionist military force, are needed to ensure the continuance of the Western enlightenment tradition and the maintenance of Western national power. Read has studied extensively the modern historical period and has published 2 books on Winston Churchill (1997 and 2000).
Read has been in a few locales a political consultant, advisor, writer as well as contributor to newspapers, articles, webzines and political organizations.
